Reims chairman Jean-Pierre Cailot insists he will not be held to ransom over star midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The Poland international, who predominantly features as a defensive midfielder, has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs as well as Ligue 1 rivals Lyon.

The 24-year-old, who began his professional career at Bordeaux, featured heavily throughout the 2013/14 campaign for Reims and helped them to an impressive 11th-placed finish.

Following Krychowiak’s eye-catching season at the Ligue 1 club, Caillot says that potential suitors must meet his asking price.

He told French newspaper L’Equipe: “I will repeat it; Krychowiak will not leave for less than €7million.”
