Wahbi Khazri has joined Bordeaux from Bastia on a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old Tunisia winger was presented to the press as a Bordeaux player on Wednesday after undergoing a medical and putting pen to paper.

A statement on the club's website said: "FC Girondins de Bordeaux is pleased to confirm the transfer of Wahbi Khazri. The midfielder arrives from SC Bastia and is committed for the next four seasons with the Girondins."

Following his unveiling, Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud said: "He is young. His versatility and physical qualities are assets for us. This boy packs a punch. He scores goals. He has signed a four-year contract. We look forward to seeing on the ground."

When asked why he chose to join Willy Sagnol's side, Khazri said: "The sports project makes me feel immediately envious. This club has ambitions and play at the top of the table. It's good for me."

Capped seven times by Tunisia after representing France at under-21 level, Khazri moves to south-west France having played scored 33 goals in 182 games for Bastia.
