Goalkeepers Gennaro Bracigliano and Nicolas Penneteau top the list of replacements for Nantes.
Les Canaris have been looking for a new keeper since Mickael Landreau confirmed he will leave the club after over a decade of service with the Ligue One side.
Rumours in France suggest that Nantes and Bastia officials have already met regarding a transfer for 25-year-old shot-stopper Penneteau in the summer.
The case for a move will be made stronger if Bastia fail to get into Ligue One this season, while Nancy keeper Bracigliano is also under consideration.
Meanwhile, Nantes captain Landreau looks most likely to move to Parc des Princes in the summer to play for Paris Saint Germain.
Fourteenth-placed Nantes play Auxerre, who are sixth, at home on Saturday.
