Loach loaned to Bury

Bury have completed the signing of Rotherham goalkeeper Scott Loach on loan until January.

The former England Under-21 international only joined the Millers in the summer but has made just four appearances and has not featured since an error in a 2-1 defeat at Ipswich in September. Loach, 26, will now link up with the high-flying League Two club until January 17 and could make his debut in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Tranmere. Millers boss Steve Evans told his club's official website: "It has always been my policy to allow experienced first-team players to go out on loan and get first-team competitive matches, which in turn gives him every opportunity to come back to the Millers and fight for the shirt whilst fully prepared to do so." The move continues a good relationship between the two clubs, with Daniel Nardiello, Pablo Mills, Nicky Adams and Danny Hylton all moving to Gigg Lane from the Millers over the last 12 months.
