Carlisle manager Keith Curle has attributed his team's run of form to a change of mentality in the dressing room.

Curle, who was appointed in September, has seen his side win four of their last six matches after previously going 15 matches without a victory. And Curle, 50, believes the change is more down to the players' belief than anything else. "That's a complete change of mentality with virtually the same playing squad," Curle told the club's website. "The players have been allowed to express themselves and I don't think any of them will be able to say they haven't been given a chance. "The owners made it clear when I came here that they want this club to stay in the ranks of the Football League. I'll do what I have to do to achieve that." Curle also spoke of his delight at the Cumbrians' FA Cup draw against Peterborough. "We want to go and test ourselves against the best and this is a chance to do that," he added. "Upsets do happen and if Peterborough don't show us the respect we will show them, we could be one of them."
