Luton boss John Still did not take any enjoyment from beating his former club Dagenham & Redbridge 3-1 at Kenilworth Road.
Hatters striker Mark Cullen bagged a hat-trick, the first two just before half time, as Still got one over his old team who he managed for nine years. He said: "I'm just glad it's over, I didn't enjoy the game one bit. You've got to be professional and do your job, but I'll be honest, I'm glad it's over. "We've played decent. I don't think we've been great. We scored three very good goals, created four or five chances but all over, I think even the players sensed a touch of emotion. There's nothing you can do about that. "When the game's going on you do your job you can't not feel something and I'm just pleased everyone did their job." The Daggers pulled a goal back through substitute Christian Doidge in the closing stages and the striker felt his side were unlucky to leave with nothing. He said: "I thought there was nothing in it to be honest. We gave them three goals basically and we had to work really hard to make opportunities for ourselves. On another day we would have won that one. "Any goals just before half time kill you, but I thought we did all right. We were just unlucky and keep making silly mistakes in the last third. "I need to get in the starting team now too. The goal was all a bit of a blur and I probably could have got another one but didn't in the end."
