New Tranmere boss Micky Adams has made Armand Gnanduillet his first signing at Prenton Park.

The 22-year-old Chesterfield forward has made a one-month loan switch to Rovers, who are currently bottom of the Football League and without their joint top-scorer Cole Stockton for the foreseeable future. Tranmere have scored just twice in their past eight fixtures, and Adams told the club's official website: "Armand is a big, powerful striker who I'm delighted to be able to bring to the club." Gnanduillet has played 12 times for the Spireites already this term, although the majority of those outings have come from the bench.
