Notts County have signed French midfielder Drissa Traore from Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre.

The 22-year-old, who had been training with the Magpies in recent weeks, completed his move on transfer deadline day. Notts chief executive Jim Rodwell told the club's official website: "We're delighted to have got this one over the line on transfer deadline day and I would like to thank our admin staff, Tony Cuthbert and Kate Lovett, who stayed late on Monday night to get the paperwork finalised. "It's sometimes easy to forget the hard work that has to go in behind the scenes to get deals done at any time, but particularly on transfer deadline day, so I am grateful to everyone involved in finalising this deal and I'm looking forward to seeing Drissa in action." Traore will be unavailable for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy match with Mansfield on Tuesday night.
