Rose makes Bury switch

Danny Rose has made his move from Barnsley to Bury a permanent one after signing a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old striker rejoined the Shakers on a emergency loan on Friday with David Flitcroft determined to get him in his squad before Saturday's trip to Hartlepool. He has seen other players develop with their set-up and he wanted it. He's had to finish one chapter at Barnsley to move onto another with Bury. "Emotionally he was upset about it, but if he carries on with performances like we saw on Saturday at Hartlepool then he is going to upset defenders at this level and the next level. We saw what Danny Rose is about with the calmness of the finish. He's just a hungry goal scorer - and he's ours."
