Stephen Dawson will link up again with manager Keith Hill after signing a one-year deal at Rochdale.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who worked under Hill at Barnsley, was a free agent after rejecting a new contract offer at Oakwell. Having begun his professional career at Leicester, the former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has also played for Mansfield, Bury, and Leyton Orient.
