Leyton Orient have announced the signing of forward Jay Simpson on a three-year deal.
The former Arsenal, Hull and Millwall forward was a free agent after a spell in Thailand with Buriram United and he has over 200 professional appearances since coming through the Gunners' academy. He has over 40 career goals under his belt and the striker joins Russell Slade's side targeting promotion from League One. Simpson told the club's website: "I'm delighted. It's a club that is going places and I want to be a part of it." Nottingham Forest striker Darius Henderson is also expected to join the O's, though that deal has yet to be finalised.
