Burnett isn't finished yet

Dagenham & Redbridge manager Wayne Burnett insists he still has business to do this summer.

A busy close-season has seen half-a-dozen fresh faces join the club as Burnett looks to mould a squad to challenge in Sky Bet League Two next season. But the activity has not ended yet at Victoria Road. Burnett told the club's website: "We're going to get one or two more experienced players in. I think you can be experienced at 21, just look at both Abu (Ogogo) and Scott Doe, at 24 they have played over 200 games each. "We're now looking to bring in forwards and wide players. There are a few players that we're looking at that will be playing on Saturday, four or five will feature, so you'll get an opportunity to see them there." Burnett's most recent addition was Frankie Raymond, who joined from Eastbourne Borough for an undisclosed fee. The Daggers manager added: "Frankie has had a good education, didn't quite make the first team at Reading, went on loan and played some senior football which helped him out massively. He's a good footballer, has a very nice left foot, he has a good footballing brain and is a hard worker."
