Colchester have announced that David Wright has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The 34-year-old defender, who joined 18 months ago and has since gone on to make 49 appearances for the club, will now stay until at least the end of the 2014/15 season. The veteran centre-back has a wealth of experience, with over 530 appearances under his belt in a career that has taken him to clubs such as Ipswich and Crystal Palace.
