Power hopes to keep Luongo

Image: Massimo Luongo: Swindon won't easily sell

Swindon chairman Lee Power insists It would take a "ridiculous" bid for the club to consider selling Massimo Luongo.

The midfielder has been at the World Cup with Australia and Power admits there has been interest back on these shores but moved to reassure Robins supporters. "We've had a lot of teams come on and ask the questions about Mass and what we're trying to do with him," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "We would like to keep Mass if we could. "Obviously, if there was a ridiculous offer (to) come in, Mass will be sold, like any football player, but ideally we'd like to keep him. "We want to give it a real go this year. We feel we got the strongest midfield in this league and we want to keep them all together."
