Dagenham defender Ian Gayle says he is a lot to prove after signing a new deal at the club.
The defender has made just four appearances for the Daggers but impressed enough to convince the management to give him a new deal. Speaking to the club's official website about his new deal Gayle said: "I'm happy to have extended my stay, I feel my performances last season earned me the extra year. Hopefully I can play a lot more games this season. "I was a bit worried before playing my first League game that I wouldn't be offered another year here. Luckily, I was given the chance to prove myself and I learned a bit more about the game, so I'm happy." He added: "This year for me, is make or break here. I've got to give it 100% like I have been doing and at least now I know I can handle the level of football."
