Crawley Town have strengthened their striker options by signing former MK Dons forward Izale McLeod on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old was released by Dons at the end of last season and John Gregory has said although he is delighted to add the striker to the squad, he will still be looking to strengthen further. Speaking to the club's official website, the Town boss said: "We're really pleased to get Izale here. Throughout his career he has scored goals and coming to Crawley, at this stage of his career, is a fresh challenge, which I think he will appreciate. "He's quick, strong and a lethal finisher. I have worked with him before and know what he is capable of and I'm delighted to welcome him to the club. "He is a proven goalscorer at this level - something we lacked last season. "We are very confident of bringing in another two new players later this week." McLeod, who had a brief stint on loan at Northampton last season, said: "I had a good chat with the manager John Gregory and he sold the ambition of the club to me really well. "It's almost going to be a new team next season and I am looking forward to being part of it and doing what I know best which is scoring goals."
