Shrewsbury have added performance analyst Michael Vernon to the backroom staff at Greenhous Meadow.
Manager Micky Mellon told their official website how pleased he is with their new recruit, who arrives from Premier League newcomers Burnley. "It's important that we're able to show players their own performance as well and how they can improve that," he said. "He's [Michael] has been at Burnley where he's been working in the Championship. He knows how to do things at that level. "It helps you as a manager. It's a real positive thing and I'm glad we've got somebody of that quality involved."
