Sheffield United's opening League One fixture for the 2014/15 season against Bristol City will be shown live on Sky Sports.
The Blades will launch their new campaign against the Robins at Bramall Lane on Saturday, August 9. United's poor start last season ultimately cost them a promotion challenge, but they finished their league campaign unbeaten in their last eight matches - they also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, losing 5-3 to Hull at Wembley. Nigel Clough's side ended up in seventh place in League One, seven points adrift of Peterborough who secured the final play-off place.
