Wycombe Wanderers captain Stuart Lewis has agreed a new one-year deal at Adams Park.

The 26-year-old, who has been with the Blues since 2010, was a virtual ever-present last season and chipped in with six goals to help his side survive in the Football League. "I think everyone knows how much this club means to me and there's nowhere else I'd rather be," he told the club's official website. "I've had a real rollercoaster journey here with a promotion, relegation and that amazing day at Torquay a few weeks ago, and I can't wait to play my part in making sure next season is one to remember for all the right reasons. "It's a real honour to play for the manager and I've made a lot of good friends here on and off the pitch, so I'm delighted to be staying." Boss Gareth Ainsworth added: "Stu gets everyone going, he gives 100% week in, week out, and that's the kind of character I want in my team."
