Shrewsbury Town have signed winger Ashley Vincent following his release from Cheltenham Town.

The 28-year-old, who left the Robins this summer, becomes new boss Micky Mellon's first signing since joining the Shrews. "He's someone I've been aware of since I was at Fleetwood and he's a really pacy, exciting attacking player with great technique," he told the club's official website. "He can play on both wings and down the middle. He will fit right into the way we want to play at Shrewsbury and I'm delighted to get him on board. "When I first spoke about coming to Shrewsbury, he was one of the first players I spoke about bringing in."
