Bury have revealed that veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen is one of seven players who will be released by the club this summer.
The 38-year-old, who spent a decade at Burnley - with whom he played in the top flight - has played 38 times for the Shakers this season but was recently dropped by manager David Flitcroft before winning his spot back. Bury have also revealed that fellow shot-stopper Trevor Carson - currently on loan with Portsmouth - defenders Richard Hinds and Robbie McIntyre, midfielder Tommy Miller and forwards Lewis Young and Tope Obadeyi will not have their contracts renewed this summer. However, young goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook, winger Chris Sedgwick and striker Clive Platt have all been offered new terms. The Sky Bet League Two club have also taken up the option to allow ex-Rochdale midfielder Andrew Tutte to remain at the JD Stadium for another season. Meanwhile, midfielder Andrew Procter and forward Ashley Grimes have both been placed on the transfer list.
