Cheltenham's newest signing Billy Daniels hopes his spell in League Two can propel him back into Coventry's first team.

The 19-year-old midfielder made his Robins debut on Saturday before revealing how boss Steven Pressley reassured him that he has a future with the Sky Blues. "I've had a long chat with my manager (Pressley) and he said my future is still secure and I'm in his plans," he told the Gloucestershire Echo. "But I asked to go out and get some more game time and experience and Cheltenham came up so it's great for me. "I have to get to know the players more, but they have all made me very welcome. "Mainly it was just good to get out there, enjoy my football and get 90 minutes under my belt."
