Rowe joins Chairboys

Wycombe have signed Rotherham defender Daniel Rowe on loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old, who made his Millers debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at York earlier this season, joins a Wycombe side who are without a number of defenders including Charles Dunne and Gary Doherty. Rowe had been on loan at Stalybridge but the Millers recalled him before sending him to join up with Gareth Ainsworth's men. "The move has come around very quickly, I only got a phone call this afternoon from (assistant) Paul Raynor about the move but I am looking forward to the challenge," Rowe told the club's official website. "I have heard good things about Wycombe so this is a great opportunity to hopefully play some games and gain some valuable experience."
