Ainsworth content with point

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth was delighted with his side's 1-1 draw at Cheltenham.

Substitute Dean Morgan fired in the vital Wycombe penalty to draw the Chairboys level but the visitors had earlier opportunities to take the lead, including a Steven Craig shot that hit the post. "We fought hard," he said. "We had some great chances before Cheltenham nicked a goal and I have to admit our heads dropped. "But they have done fantastic to get back in the game and it is a real building block for us. It is a great point away from home, although I think we could have won the game. "The players have some courage and they have some fight in them - they know that the spirit at the club will never die. In years gone by we would have lost that game but not here, the lads gave everything for me. "There are a few knocks - Matt McClure and Stevie Craig have both come off with hamstring tweaks so we will have to address that. Stevie is a tenacious striker and the only thing he didn't do was score and he was as gutted as anyone to miss that chance. "Everyone is keeping the faith and I'm looking forward to this run-in now. We need to get something out of Rochdale - it's going to be a tough game but we're looking forward to it."
