Ainsworth wanted a draw

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth believes his side should have drawn with in-form Plymouth following their 1-0 loss at Adams Park.

Plymouth captain Conor Hourihane's fifth goal of the season shortly after half time was enough to end the home side's sixth-match unbeaten run but Ainsworth believes the result was cruel on his Chairboys. "I've said to the lads that we should have come away with a point," Ainsworth said. "We didn't do enough in front of goal to earn the win but I'm disappointed to concede from a set-piece. "With the goal, I thought we could have stopped the corner happening rather than defend it better. That was my gripe. Their centre-half runs 60 yards to win a corner and somebody needs to stop him. "But we learn the lesson and we'll go up to York on Saturday with a positive mental attitude and try to win it. Of course we can do it and get back on that run again. The league is starting to look interesting again and it's in our hands. "It will be different on Saturday. We'll get back on it and will be ready to rock and roll at York."
