Fleetwood have agreed a deal for experienced midfielder Keith Southern to join the club.

Southern will move to the League One newcomers when his current deal at Huddersfield expires on June 30. The 33-year-old will become Town boss Graham Alexander's second summer signiing after left-back Danny Andrew 's arrival from Macclesfield. "The vision here is a real opportunity for me to run with a club who are going places," Southern told Fleetwood's official club website. "I've played against Graham Alexander and I know he is an ambitious guy. He looks to the future and neither him or the club want to stand still. I'm looking forward to meeting the lads and helping this team win games." Southern spent almost a decade at Blackpool, clocking up 330 league appearances - with over 150 of them in the Premier League and Championship before moving to Huddersfield in July 2012.
