Rotherham forward Gareth Evans is on the comeback trail after playing 70 minutes for the reserves in midweek.

The 23-year-old has not featured for the Millers since January 14 after a problematic back injury, but he returned to training last week and featured for the reserves in their 0-0 draw with Bradford. "He is feeling alright. It was a nice introduction back into football," said manager Andy Scott. "He got 70 minutes without problems and that is a big plus. "Physically he seems to have come through it. We might have to check on him over the next few days, because he's a big asset for us."
