Grant: Iron must push on

Scunthorpe marksman Bobby Grant is keen for the Iron to kick on after the weekend's impressive 4-2 win over in-form Tranmere.

Top scorer Grant bagged a brace against Rovers, but cast his mind back to last month's back-to-back triumphs over Yeovil and Stevenage and the subsequent lull in form for Alan Knill's side before urging his team-mates to cash in on their latest success. "We've played four teams who have been up at the top in the last few weeks and we've had three draws and now a win," the eight-goal forward told the Scunthorpe Telegraph. "It was nice to get that victory at home, but it's crucial we kick on from here. We can't live off the Tranmere win, we've got to go on and beat other teams. "We have to put it to the back of our minds and get ourselves ready for the trip to Bournemouth. "If we think that's going to be easy we've got another thing coming."
