Notts County have signed Northern Ireland international Jeff Hughes on a two-year deal from Bristol Rovers.
Hughes, who worked with Notts coach John Schofield when they were both at Lincoln, left Bristol Rovers this summer. "I met Jeff a couple of weeks ago at the ground," said Magpies manager Martin Allen. "He's been away on holiday and finally and thankfully we have got this deal done. "He's a left-sided player, can play left-back or left wing, and over the last few years he's been playing 40 games a season and scoring goals."
