Stephen Jordan is relieved that the game against Bolton on Boxing Day is at Turf Moor, considering Burnley's catastrophic away form.
The Clarets have taken just one point from their nine games on their travels this term, conceding a staggering 29 goals in that time.
A 2-0 defeat at fellow relegation candidates Wolves last time out has seen Owen Coyle's men slip to 14th, just three points off the relegation places.
Despite their dismal away form, Burnley have managed to win five of their nine home games and Jordan is confident the club can get a result against a Bolton side looking to climb out of the bottom three.
"It's good to be back at Turf Moor, considering how it has been away from home," he said.
"It is a big game on Boxing Day. As you saw with Wolves, they were in the bottom three and moved to 12th after one win.
"If we get a couple of victories under our belts we will be looking up rather than down."

With many expecting Burnley to go straight back down this season, Jordan admits that the team are determined to prove their worth and the 27-year-old defender insists the side have had to learn fast in order to get to grips with life in the top flight.
"I suppose a lot of people didn't expect us to get this many (points) but those of us within the camp know we deserve to be in the Premier League and, to be honest, we think we could be on more points," he added.
"We've learned a lot and quickly, which you have to do if you want to stay in the league.
"It is a case of if you give half a chance away you get punished. That is the difference between the Championship and the Premier League.
"Everyone knows there are the top six or seven and then everyone in and around the bottom half have to beat each other and any three from the next 14 can go down. If we get anything against the top teams it is a bonus."
