York have extended the loan spell of midfielder John McGrath until the end of the season after reaching agreement with parent club Burton.
McGrath, 32, who initially joined the Minstermen for a month, has started all six games following his arrival at Bootham Crescent in February. Burton have retained the option of a 24-hour recall for the Irishman, who is expected to resume in midfield against Rochdale on Tuesday night in York manager Nigel Worthington's first home game in charge.
