Wilson lauds dominant Blades

Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson felt his side deserved their triumph against Wycombe as three second-half goals clinched a 3-0 victory.

A debut strike from substitute Will Hoskins, five minutes after he replaced Richard Cresswell, broke the Chairboys' resistance at Bramall Lane on Saturday before goals from Ched Evans and Kevin McDonald sealed the points in League One. Wilson said: "I think we deserved it, we've completely dominated possession, maybe had 90 percent of the possession. "Situations in the first half that we had, I don't think we made the most of. We were not as quick in our deliveries or our passing that we could have been. We maybe could have been a little bit more incisive and not taken an extra touch when we didn't need it, but the second half was much better. The tempo was up and when the gaps started appearing that's when we really made it emphatic. "I don't think there was any doubt we were going to win the game, it's just when we were going to get the first goal that was always going to be the critical point. "Winning at home is pivotal in everything we do this year; we have to have strong home form."
