Striker taken off in practice match as a precaution
Barnet boss Ian Hendon has brushed off concerns over Jake Hyde's fitness after he was substituted in a practice match.
Hyde went down from a strong challenge, but Hendon says the striker was only taken off as a precaution.
"He'll be alright," Hendon told the club's official website. "I was going to take him off anyway."
The 19-year-old has scored five goals in 16 appearances for the Bees since joining from Swindon Town in the summer and played the final half-hour of last weekend's 3-0 victory over Darlington.
The Bees received another injury worry during the practice game against Colchester as right-back Ryan O'Neill took a knock to his ankle.
