Falkirk defender Darren Barr hopes their first win of the season last time out against Hamilton can kick-start their campaign.
The Bairns had gone 11 games into the new season without a victory prior to seeing off the Accies in their last encounter.
Barr believes the win was long overdue, but he acknowledges performances need to be improved on a consistent basis.
Falkirk tackle Hibernian this weekend and Barr sees no reason why they cannot secure another three-point haul.
Encouragement
"Hopefully this first win can kick us on now," he told the club's
official website. "The supporters have been great to us all season, kept encouraging us and helped us keep the heads up.
"We know within the club what we're capable of but the backing is always appreciated. We have to build on this now or it's all for nothing.
"I won't say we don't deserve to be at the bottom of the league because the table never lies, but what I do think is that we're more than good enough to move up the table if we keep doing the right things.
"With that in mind, no-one has been dwelling on the Hamilton win this week. We know we haven't achieved anything yet and it's only one result.
Momentum
"Nothing feels better than being in that dressing room after the team has won again. You want to repeat that experience as soon as possible and as often as possible. You have to try and build some momentum.
"Looking ahead to the trip to Hibs on Saturday, these are the kind of games that are tough going in the SPL. Like Hearts the other week it's a great stadium and they are going well but if we apply ourselves properly we're more than capable of getting a good result.
"There are a few ex-Falkirk boys in their team, but my only concern is making sure we get the three points. They've got some talented players but I never like to focus too much on the opposition. We have to look to do our own jobs properly and can't worry about what anyone else is doing."
