Stopper signs as cover to Alan Combe

Kilmarnock have signed Celtic goalkeeper Mark Brown on loan until January. The 28-year-old stopper, who represented Scotland at Under 21 level, began his career at Old Firm rivals Rangers before a five-year stint at Inverness CT. Killie manager Jim Jeffries told the club's official website: "With the news of Alan Combe's injury we had to get cover. "In Mark we have a player with plenty of SPL experience and after his great spell at Inverness CT he earned his big move to Celtic. "It's always difficult for a club to get a player in for the short period we were looking for but in Mark we've found a player who has played in big games and will, along with Cameron Bell and Lee Robinson, provide cover for Alan. "We are delighted to have him at the club."
