Eidur Gudjohnsen's #One2Eleven

It's fair to say Eidur Gudjohnsen has played with some amazing players.

FORWARD - RONALDINHO It wasn't that difficult a decision, I don't think. He's the most complete player I've seen in football. It wouldn't surprise me if he could get the ball to talk to him. He was that good he could do anything. He was very quick, very powerful. The one problem I had with him was he'd put so much disguise on his passing he'd even fool me! FORWARD - RONALDO The Brazilian Ronaldo. We signed in the same week for PSV. I was just a kid at 16 and he was already a man at 18. He had this unbelievable pace, scoring ability and dribbling ability. He could go past players as if they weren't there. I remember in his first season he was having a difficult time and they asked him at Christmas 'you've only got ten goals, how many do you think you'll score?' and without blinking he said '30'. Everyone raised their eyebrows but in the last game of the season, playing Feyenoord away and he'd got 28 goals. He got the ball two times and scored two goals and said 'there's your 30 goals'. When he was injury-free and fit I don't think anyone could stop him. FORWARD - LIONEL MESSI Do I need to explain why? I think he was 19 years old when I signed for Barcelona and I watched a fantastic player when I arrived develop into the best player in the world. The most astonishing thing was, it was like everyone knew he was going to be the best. He probably knew too and it was like the most natural thing in the world.
