FC Augsburg defender Dominik Reinhardt has signed a one-year contract extension with the Bundesliga club despite another injury-plagued season.
The former Germany Under 21 international's previous deal was set to expire at SGL-Arena this summer.
Reinhardt had featured in just four league games in 2012/13 due to the injury problems which have tormented him over the past two years.
But Augsburg were still pleased to sign a new deal with the 28-year-old, as manager Markus Weinzierl told the club's official website: "Dominik Reinhardt is a team player.
"He gives his very best for the team all the way. He has been through very difficult times due to his long-term injury lay-off.
"But he has fought his way back and did show good matches for our club in the final phase of the season. We are happy to have signed a new deal with him."
