Augsburg have signed former Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Manninger on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old has been handed a contract for the rest of the season.
Augsburg's signing of the former Austria international comes following the injury to goalkeeper Simon Jentzsch, who is sidelined until January with a finger injury.
Manninger, who left Juventus in the summer, has already started regular training at the German club.
"I am pleased and I am looking forward to the chance to experience Bundesliga football," he told Augsburg's official website. "I want to help the team."
"We are delighted to have signed Alexander Manninger," said the club's general manager Jurgen Rollmann.
"Alex has got the mentality of a team player. He will be of benefit to us in the league due to his massive experience."
