Crawley intensify keeper search

Crawley are stepping up their hunt for a goalkeeper ahead of the new League Two season.

Town are currently without a senior keeper after Lewis Price's loan spell ended and Brian Jensen joined Mansfield. But chief executive Michael Dunford is confident that manager Mark Yates and assistant Jimmy Dack have the situation in hand. "Mark and Jimmy realise that by the start of the season we will need two keepers," said Dunford. "I'm certain we will have one by the time we start pre-season games on July 15. It's a critical position and it is one of Mark's priorities. "If there was a criticism of our recruitment last season it was that we rushed into signings. Mark takes his time on all signings and I'm confident he has the goalkeeping situation under control. I'm not losing any sleep over it anyway."
