Transfer news: Football League clubs eye Woking's Reece Placid

A host of clubs are tracking non-league sensation Reece Placid, Sky Sports understands.

Placid has been earning rave reviews playing for Isthmian League side Corinthian Casuals this season on loan from Woking.

The pacy winger has scored two goals and won four man-of-the-match awards in nine appearances for the Casuals since joining the club.

Placid is highly regarded at Woking and was sent out on loan this season so that he can gain some valuable first-team experience.

A number of clubs are thought to have been alerted to the teenager's potential, with the likes of Peterborough, Crawley, Southend and Luton all having watched him in action this season.
