Barker eyes unbeaten run

Crawley Town boss Richie Barker is keen to get through the month of September unbeaten.

Town have won two and drawn two since the start of the month and Barker has targeted three points against Oldham on Saturday to ensure they head into October on a high. "We have been playing well recently and it's slightly disappointing that we perhaps should have won the two games we drew," he said. "Against both Shrewsbury and Colchester we did enough I felt to have picked up three points. "But the level of performance has been pretty good throughout the team and we can take some real momentum into what is a tough October if we can get three points on Saturday. "It won't be easy, mind. They gave us a tough game here last season so we have to be mindful of that. "But to go through any month unbeaten in this division is an achievement and that is the incentive for us ahead of Saturday."
