Striker believes Redknapp can boost players

Bournemouth striker Matt Tubbs believes Harry Redknapp's influence at the club can only benefit the players. Former Cherries boss Redknapp has taken up an advisory role at Bournemouth after being out of work since being sacked as Tottenham manager in June. Tubbs, who scored the equaliser in Saturday's draw with Hartlepool, is happy to see Redknapp take up his position at Dean Court feeling his arrival is a major positive for everyone at the League One outfit. "Having such a name watching you week in, week out is only going to benefit myself and the rest of the lads," Tubbs told The Sun. "If he can't pass anything on, then no one can. He has managed at the top and was unlucky not to get the England job. "It is because it didn't work at Spurs that he has been able to help us out. "He'll do the club and the town the world of good."
