Crawley Town have signed defender Mark Connolly for next season on a free transfer from Bolton.

The 21-year-old Irishman has agreed a two-year contract at the Broadfield Stadium following his release by Wanderers at the end of last term. Director of football Steve Coppell told Town's website: "Mark is a great fit for the club as we look forward to the challenge of League One football. "He is a talented footballer who is very versatile and is looking to start his career afresh with the club. "We believe he has a lot to offer and that he will flourish in our squad." Connolly is Crawley's fourth new arrival this summer, joining Paul Jones, Mat Sadler and Nicky Adams at the ambitious Sussex club.
