Midfielder Sergio Torres believes League Two side Crawley have proved they are genuine promotion candidates this season.
Town were promoted as Blue Square Bet Premier champions last term and are threatening to charge straight through to League One at the first attempt. Saturday's convincing 3-0 win over Burton stretched their unbeaten run to 14 games and left them three points clear of Southend at the top of the table. Torres said: "If we carry on doing what we are doing at the moment we have a good chance of getting promoted. "To be top of the table is a fantastic feeling. With the players we have at the club we are in a good position to push hard for back-to-back promotions."
