Burton manager Paul Peschisolido will not rush into signing a replacement for departed goalkeeper Adam Legzdins.
Legzdins, 24, joined Championship club Derby last week and the Rams have opened the door for England Under-19 goalkeeper Ross Atkins to travel in the opposite direction on loan as part of the Legzdins deal. But Peschisolido told the Burton Mail: "I hope to speak to (Derby manager) Nigel Clough this week about a variety of matters and Ross will be part of the discussions. "There's a possibility that he will join us for pre-season to see how things work out, but I have other irons in the fire."
