Brighton midfielder Gary Dicker has stated his desire to remain at the club beyond the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Irishman, who has been a regular for the Seagulls since joining from Stockport in June 2009, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign. Dicker told the Argus: "I signed a two-year deal and it's up this year. I haven't heard anything yet but if you play well the rest looks after itself. I am not too worried about it, I am not going to kick up a fuss about it. "I definitely want to be here next year, the way we are playing and the way the club is going. It's a great club to be at compared to when I came here. The change is unbelievable really. "It's always hard when a new manager comes in. I am sure he (Brighton boss Gus Poyet) didn't know that much about the players but everyone got a fair crack of the whip. "It freshened things up a hell of a lot and gave the club the kick up the backside it needed. We haven't looked back since he came in with Tanno (assistant Mauricio Taricco) and Charlie (coach Charlie Oatway)."
