Derby centre-half to miss rest of the season

Derby County have been dealt a blow with the news Dean Leacock will miss the final four matches of the season with a knee injury. The 25-year-old suffered ligament damage in the victory at Coventry which ruled him out of the home defeat to Ipswich on Monday. "Dean is out for the season. He has opened out his knee and so with pretty much three weeks to go, it is highly unlikely he will play," said Rams boss Nigel Clough. Leacock's injury leaves Derby short of cover in defence with Jake Buxton and Dean Moxey also in the treatment room.
