Kennedy ready to take chance

Callum Kennedy is ready to step in for AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup at Wycombe on Sunday.

The 25-year-old looks set to deputise at left-back following an injury to Jack Smith against Cambridge last weekend. Kennedy played for the Dons' development squad against Luton in midweek to sharpen up his fitness and said: "On a personal level it was good to get 90 minutes under my belt. "It was a game that felt like it was played at 100 miles per hour as everyone involved had the bit between their teeth. It did not feel like a reserve game and it was exactly what I needed to get some match fitness. "Nothing changes for me because I will prepare for Sunday in exactly the same way as I have for every game. If I get a game then I will be over the moon to play and I will do my best. "Hopefully it's not a bad injury for Jack Smith, but if I get a chance then I will take it."
