Tubbs expects Wimbledon stay

Matt Tubbs expects to see out his season-long loan deal at AFC Wimbledon despite the possibility of a recall to parent club Bournemouth.

The 30-year-old striker, who joined the Dons on loan from Bournemouth in the summer, has hit nine goals in 14 appearances so far. Despite Tubbs' fine form, though, the former Crawley frontman does not feel he is in Cherries boss Eddie Howe's plans. "I don't think so," he told GetWestLondon. "I didn't feature at all there last season and I'm obviously not in his plans this season. We'll have to wait and see what happens. "It's not to for me to say yes or no, all I can keep doing is trying to do well for this club and push us towards the top of the table. "I'm enjoying my football at the minute and anyone who's enjoying their football is comfortable where they are. "You take it as it comes. For myself, it's just a case of trying to keep fit and score as many goals as I can." On his long-term future, Tubbs added: "It's not for me to decide. I'd like to have a few options. I've not got that yet. Come Christmas time, hopefully there will be some decisions to be made."
