AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley has confirmed the appointment of Alan Reeves as the club's new under-21 development team manager.
Following the news of Shaun North's departure for Cheltenham, Ardley wasted no time in bringing in former team-mate Reeves as his replacement. "I'm absolutely delighted that Alan has accepted the role of our new under-21 coach," Ardley told the club's official website. "Alan was interviewed for the job last year when Shaun got it and it was a very close call. "Once it became clear that Shaun would be leaving the logical step was to speak to Alan and see if he was available. "I'm sure that Alan will build on the good work done by Shaun with the Under-21 programme since it was set-up last summer."
